Sam
and
Jim...an unlikely pair...but then what pre-ordained coupling throughout all of history has NOT been an unlikely pair.
Samson and Delilah,
Caesar and Cleopatra,
Marc Antony and Cleopatra,
Nero and his fiddle,
Romeo and Juliet to name just a few. I mean, hell, Romeo and Juliet so pissed off their families that poor couple ended up taking their lives rather than give in to their battling families by living apart. (Makes you wonder how many of the battles between the
Hatfield and McCoys were over interblendings of love.
Love CAN make you crazy right?)
Okay, Sam
and Jim
are a BIT more unlikely, but have you ever known love and passion to run smoothly?
Jim has been around a really long time, so his world outlook has been refined through the advancement, or lack there of of
human evolution. Mankind, he knows, is no less
terrified of that which they don't understand, and boy do they NOT understand his race.
Sam, on the other hand, is far more in touch with her inner wild side. She embraces the huntress, wanting to learn all she can about the role they played in shaping the events we all learn in our
history classes. Like Jim, though she is very in-tuned to the
intolerance by those who do not understand "different."
Jim and Sam are members of the Subspecies. As a mathematician and scientist, Jim can expain the difference in the
cellular genomes between Subspecies and humans. He struggles with the knowledge his kind cannot breed; their numbers always small...until miracle of all miracles, Sam his exquisitely hot Lycan lover
is pregnant!
What does Sam's pregnancy mean for all the Subspecies elements?
Mike Arsuaga has the answers and he is willing to enlighten one and all with the release of his Muse It Hot Publishing Book, SUBSPECIES in May 2011. Check it out on its BOOKSTORE PAGE for updates.
